It's been approximately one year since Titan was launched. Based on the rollup data from operating Titan, we propose increasing the rollup interval to improve the cost effectiveness.

Proposed Update to Rollup Parameter

On June 18th, 2024, from 4:00 to 5:00 UTC, we will perform maintenance on Titan and modify the rollup parameters as follows:

L2 transaction rollup interval: changing from once every 10 minutes to once every 20 minutes
L2 state root rollup interval: changing from once every 10 minutes to once every 6 hours

This change is expected to reduce the costs of L2 transaction and L2 state root rollup by 3.5% and 64% respectively. This will enhance the cost-effectiveness of operating Titan and maintain stable operation without significantly impacting security.

Please note that, after the update, the withdrawal of assets from Titan could take up to 7 days and 6 hours, an increase from the previous 7 days and 11 minutes.

롤업 매개변수 업데이트

2024년 6월 18일, 13시부터 14시까지(KST), 타이탄에 대한 유지보수를 진행하며 롤업 매개변수를 다음과 같이 변경할 계획입니다:

L2 트랜잭션 롤업 주기: 10분에 1번에서 20분에 1번으로 변경
L2 state root 롤업 주기: 10분에 1번에서 6시간에 1번으로 변경

이 변경사항은 L2 트랜잭션과 L2 state root 롤업의 비용을 각각 약 3.5%와 64% 감소시킬 것으로 예상됩니다. 이는 Titan의 운영 비용 효율성을 향상시키고, 보안에 크게 영향을 미치지 않으면서 안정적인 운영을 유지할 수 있게 합니다.

업데이트 이후에는 Titan에서 자산을 인출하는 데 최대 7일 6시간이 소요될 수 있습니다. 이는 이전의 7일 11분보다 늘어난 시간입니다.
