Bureaucratic steps
- Prince -> Schedule recurring monthly calls + quarterly calls with Foundation (+ make sure there is a schedule every month)
- Prince -> Request Kevin to join the call to discuss the overall direction
Discussion that needs to happen with Kevin during monthly call
- What are the important points we want to communicate?
- Our current scheme:
- Two schemes
- Sell → Fund (this takes some time, we need to move the fund from L2 to L1 and stake and bridge back) → Sell
- Sell → Swap → Sell
- Random pack → allows users to mint based on Treasury’s WSTON + users can purchase gems directly from the primary market using WSTON instead of TON.
- Incentivize users to bridge WSTON and swap it for TON on L2 → This solves this issue partly
- Not allow users to swap their TON for WSTON → This will increase the number of the mintable random packs (and any other gems)
- (Work IP) Introduce the GEM staking scheme that leverages Treasury’s TON for WSTON held by the gem to mint new gems → this will increase number of mintable random pack (and any other gems)
- Everyone should be on the same page
- Ryan:
- staked TON part of the NFT was the main selling point for this project, removing this part from the project seems to drastically change the main point of the project
- OR we need some distinction
- Mehdi:
- Swapper allow users to swap TON and WSTON on L2
- unlimited GEM purchase option using TON (for specific gems)
- limit mining capability
- Suah: run with TON + WSTON system, where WSTON represents forging + mining capability
- Prince:
- Allow staking of NFT to increase liquidity
- Need to develop this idea more
- What are the cons of using TON instead of WSTON
- derails from the original intent
- [can be solved, but it makes the UX difficult] Forging becomes irrelevant for lower-level gems if they are sold in an unlimited number
- What is the issue with randomness
- Currently we rely on other project for backend support
- Do we need to run the backend ourselves? Or at least be ready for it?
- When do we need their support?
- I think it would be good if we can provide some important figures
- How active it will be?
- What are user-specific costs?
- universal vs user-specific
- New mining approach (requires discussion)
